Hello, world!

Every time I speak with my friends we always get on the subject of how expensive it is to feed a family in Southern California.

This page is dedicated to combining two of my passions: food and money (actually, 3, because I love my family) and how one doesn’t have to ruin the other.

My main focus will be coming up with a weekly menu and the costs associated with it in Southern California. This means I will base the menu on the weekly ads and specials I find in my neighborhood.

I came from very a very humble origin. I had lived in four different countries and spoke four different languages by the time I was thirteen. English is the most recent language I've acquired. My career has taken me to various parts of the world and across the United States. When people inquire about my occupation, I just state that I am a "Bean Counter."
