Preheat the grill. When the grill is hot, turn it off and rub some an oiled paper towel to grease the grill, then turn it back on. Please be careful!
Sprinkle salt on both sides of the steaks and place it on the grill.
After about 3 minutes, turn the steak 90-degree angle and grill for another 2 minutes.
Turn the steak over and grill for 3 minutes and turn the steak 90 degrees and grill for another 2 minutes.
The actual time depends on the thickness of the steak. The best way to gauge is by using a meat thermometer.
Once the steak reaches your preferred temperature, take it off the grill and tent it with foil paper for 10 minutes. DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP.
While the steaks are resting, mix pesto sauce with butter.
After the resting period, cut the meat and add the pesto butter on top. If you like another herb or spice, you can use it instead of pesto sauce.
Serve with a side salad, corn, potatoes, or whatever you like.
